Eminent Coventry Freemasons – Gilbert Richards CBE DL (1912 – 1980)

Gilbert Richards, CBE, A member of Trinity Lodge no 254, a phenomenal after-dinner speaker, a long term local politician, Deputy Lieutenant, Police Special, Churchwarden, Trustee and Governor, whose life of service to others only lasted 68 years.

Eminent Coventry Freemasons – Emanuel Kalker (1859-1940)

Emanual Kalker – Founder of Kalker & Co motor company and also Coventry Electric Company. A member of the Jewish faith, he was actively involved in the Coventry Synagogue, and chair of the Belgian Refugee Committee for which he received an OBE in 1920. He was a founder member of St John’s Lodge.

Eminent Coventry Freemasons – Dennis Brandish (1902-1989)

Dennis Brandish – A successful and respected director of the family garage business of W. Brandish and Sons Ltd. A member of Trinity Lodge no 254, and a daring and impressive motorcycle rider, often performing stunts for charity.
